ABOUT US
Gold Coast Mobile Vet was a long-time dream put into action by Dr Suzie Kruse after the birth of her second son. Being at home with a baby, a small child and two dogs made it difficult to get anywhere. She dreaded the thought of public outings with a four-year-old and a newborn, let alone sitting in a vet clinic waiting room with her dog-reactive dachshund! Realising there had to be many other people and pets in similar situations, who would hugely benefit from a veterinarian coming to their home, ignited the fire to start GCMV.
Many people haven’t even considered using a mobile veterinarian, but there are many benefits!
Benefits for your pet:
- Pets are more comfortable in their home environment
- Easier on pets with limited mobility or painful conditions

Benefits for you:
- No need for access to transport
- Multiple pets can be seen in one visit
- Convenient if you have young kids at home
- Saves you time you would have otherwise spent travelling and waiting at the clinic
- Ideal for those working from home – minimal disruption to your workday!
MEET THE TEAM
Suzie graduated from the University of Queensland with honours in 2013. Since then, she has worked in general practices across Melbourne, the Gold Coast and South Africa, with a focus on canine and feline medicine. She loves getting to know her patients and their families and helping every family to achieve the best quality of life for their pets.
Suzie grew up in Robina, and shares her home with her husband Niki, sons Dominic and Jesse, and fur babies Bella (a dachshund x staffy) and Luna (a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel). Like most mums, her weekends tend to revolve around playdates and sports lessons, catch ups with loved ones and enjoying some great coffee and wine.
Nahanee has been working in vet clinics since 2003 and a qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2006. In her role as a nurse, she loves the joy that pets bring to their families. She enjoys building relationships with clients and their pets and is known for taking the time to win over scared or nervous pets. If you have puppies or kittens watch out – she might steal them away for cuddles! She is especially partial to Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Chihuahuas.
Nahanee is a local – born and raised on the Gold Coast. She loves the sunny weather and beautiful beaches. She lives with her husband, two young kids (who keep her very busy!), and a chihuahua named Hazel.
Growing up with a variety of family pets and livestock, Amanda's love for animals started from a young age. Her desire to enhance the connection between humans and animals, is what lead to her pursuing a career within the animal industry. In 2010 she graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Veterinary Technology. Since then she has been working as a veterinary nurse in both general and emergency clinic across the Gold Coast.
Amanda lives with her husband Warren and their feather-babies Roxanne, Fifi and Cluck Norris (3 much loved chickens). She is also an amateur boxer and coach at a local boxing gym, which is pretty much her second home.
